After all the recent season and series finales, what are you watching on TV these days?
I've been watching a lot of stuff on Discovery Channel and National Geographic, or PBS stuff. Out of all of that my favorite so far has been Man Vs Wild.
If any of you have seen Survivor man you'll get this show right away. This guy whose name happens to be Bear Grylls is super intense, throwing himself into super-sticky survival situations that you wouldn't think could be lived through. Pretty amazing.

What's the best way to get on your good side?

What are five things you're good at?
Submitted by HapaLove.
1. Melody. I wouldn't ever claim to have the world's greatest voice. I would never claim to be a great songwriter. But, there is one thing I think I've got a handle on and that's Melody. I can find a melody that will stick in people's heads for a good long time. To me there's nothing more rewarding than hearing someone hum the melody to one of my songs without thinking about it. It makes me think that maybe some of the words of that song, some of what I was feeling is sinking into those people and that at least for a moment somebody understands me.
2.Being Funny. I've definitely had to develop my sense of humor throughout my life as a sort of defense mechanism. Being a fat kid I had to be able to take all the bull crap people threw at me and just brush it off. I developed being funny as a way to get people to like me I guess. I really enjoy hearing people laugh, I like people being happy. I've also had so many bad things happen to me in life that if I didn't have a sense of humor I'd have gone insane a long time ago.
3. Remembering random stuff. People are constantly amazed at my ability to remember things. For some reason, if it's really interesting to me then I can keep it in my brain and pull it out. My memory is like one of those giant idea-map things with everything connected in various ways. The problem with this is that I can't for the life of me remember things like mathematical formulas or stuff I really don't care much about. So I get tagged as a genius, but then people get mad at me when I can't help them out with the quadratic formula and even more so when they find out how horrible I do in school.
4. Advice. I'm the king of advice. I can tell exactly what to do. Exactly what will make you happy. Problem is people suck at following advice; myself included. But I'm constantly hearing this phrase from people, "why didn't I listen to you?" Honestly I know a lot about people. I can pretty much predict with about eighty percent accuracy how people will react to any given circumstance. So I'm hardly ever surprised at people's behavior. That's what really helps me know how to help people.
5. Art. I am definitely not the most skilled artist, but I have a lot of creativity. I'm interested in any kind of art, but I really focus on design. I'm always analyzing the way things are designed. It sometimes drives my friends up the wall.
How do you beat writer's block?
Submitted by marvel is my pen name.
Depending on the severity of the writer's block I do one of two things. If the block is not too bad and I'm just feeling a temporary lack of creativity I will usually just try and plug my way through it, writing as much as possible. Usually over half of it is utter crap, but towards the end of this process I get back on track.
If the writer's block is an intense case I will usually just take a break from writing and go live life. I'll try to put myself in circumstances where I will have a lot of intense emotion. I'll try to put myself on the line with love, or party hard with my friends. I find that doing this really refreshes my creative side and gives me a whole lot of new material to write about.
You're trapped in a (temporarily) out of order elevator - who would you like to be trapped with?
Submitted by tbtissimus.
At first I thought it would be cool to put someone famous like Brian Wilson, or Scarlett Johanson, but then I thought, "how much would it suck if they turned out to be total jerks?" The answer is that it would suck a lot.
I then thought, "maybe I should pick one of my good friends. Someone I know I usually have a good time with." It occurred to me, however, that although I usually have an awesome time with said "good friends" I have probably never been trapped in a confined space with them.
So I came to option number three, which is to find someone with whom I've been in a confined space for a long period of time and didn't want to mutilate.
And so, considering this criteria I was able to decide upon Todd Perkins. We have taken pretty long trips together in his hot-wheels sized Honda.
Have you ever been cheated on? Ever cheated?
Submitted by Joe.
I never cheated on anybody. I could never really see myself doing that. I'm too much of a sap. I only like one girl at a time. It's liek it's a genetic trait or something, that's how uncontrollable it is.
As far as being cheated on. Hell if I know.
